B.Sc. (Nursing)

Basic B.Sc (N) is a 4 year degree program aimed to produce qualified nurses in the country. The course provides a platform to the candidates to become a eligible nurse after the completion of course.

Also the program offers the opportunity to work as staff nurse in any hospital. In case the student is interested to go in teaching side , he/ she can apply in any nursing college in India after completing his/her one year experience in clinical side.

Thus the course open both ways for Clinical/ teaching after it’s completion.

Eligibility Criteria B. Sc. (N)

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the

• Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.

• Student shall be medically fit.

• 10 +2 in the science stream with minimum 50% marks along Entrance Exam and health assessment

• Age -17 to 35

General Nurses & Midwifery (GNM)

Course Details

This program is broad based education specifically directed to the development of critical thinking skills, competencies & standards required for practice of professional nursing and midwifery.

Eligibility Criteria

GNM is a 3 year diploma Program aimed to produce qualified nurses in the country. The course provides a platform to the candidates to become a eligible nurse after the completion of course. The Course was designed with aim to to bring Non - Bio candiates and give them the oppurtunity to choose nursing field even after not having Biology / Science subjects in thier intremediate

The course is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty, Lucknow.The program offers the opportunity to work as staff nurse in any hospital. For attaining higher degree in the nursing the student can go through Post Basic B.Sc (N) which makes the candiate a degree holder in Nurisng field. Eligibility Criteria of General Nursing & Midwifery :

Eligibilty Criteria of persuing G. N. M:

1. Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM:

• 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.

• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council.

• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.

• Registered ANM with pass mark.

10+2 in the science /commerce /art stream with minimum 50% marks along with college Entrance Exam and health assessment

ANM

Course Details

ANM program is designed to the candidates who are eager to work in villages/ remote areas of their area. This is certificate course.

In the college the course is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty, Lucknow.

After the completion of Course, the students gets a complete knowledge about the work done in Primary Health Centres/ Community Health Centres. The program up brings the student with compete knowledge of Neo Born babies, their immunization chart, and also about the pregnant women.

After the completion of course the student gets the opportunity to work in Primary Health Centres/ Community Health Centres. The ANM are commonly known as ANM bhenji in the areas.

Eligibility Criteria

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

• The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.

• The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.

• Student shall be medically fit.

• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.

• Student shall be admitted once in a year.
