The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.

GNM is a 3 year diploma Program aimed to produce qualified nurses in the country. The course provides a platform to the candidates to become a eligible nurse after the completion of course. The Course was designed with aim to to bring Non - Bio candiates and give them the oppurtunity to choose nursing field even after not having Biology / Science subjects in thier intremediate

The course is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty, Lucknow.The program offers the opportunity to work as staff nurse in any hospital. For attaining higher degree in the nursing the student can go through Post Basic B.Sc (N) which makes the candiate a degree holder in Nurisng field. 1. Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM:

• 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.

• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council.

• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.

• Registered ANM with pass mark.

3 years

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

• The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.

• The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.

• Student shall be medically fit.

• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.

• Student shall be admitted once in a year.

2 years

To apply for the Diploma in Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology at Gms College Of Nursing Allied And Healthcare Sciences, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Students must have completed 10+2 (Class 12) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. A minimum of 50% marks is required (45% for reserved category candidates).

• Age Limit: There is no specific age limit for this course. However, students must meet the age criteria defined by the university during the admission process.

Completed 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and a minimum of 50% aggregate.

2 years

• Minimum qualification: He/she has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board with pass marks (50%) in physics, chemistry, biology (PCB) mandatory and mathematics (optional).
• Candidates who have studied abroad and have passed the equivalent qualification as determined by the Association of Indian Universities will form the guideline to determine the eligibility and must have passed in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (mandatory) and Mathematics (optional) up to 12th Standard level.
• The qualifying examination passed by FN/PIO/CIWGC students should be considered equivalent to eligibility examination by the Association of Indian Universities/Academic Council
• He/she has to furnish at the time of submission of application form, a certificate of Physical fitness from a registered medical practitioner and two references from persons other than relatives testifying to satisfactory general character.
• Admission to Bachelor in Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology course shall be made on the basis of eligibility and an entrance test to be conducted for the purpose. No candidate will be admitted on any ground unless he/she has appeared in the admission test and interview.
• 1. Entrance test, to be conducted by the university as per the syllabus under 10 +2 scheme of CBSE, subject-wise distribution of questions will be as 25% in Physics, 25% in Biology, 25% in Chemistry, 15% in English (Language & Comprehension) and 10% in General Awareness about health related methods.
  2. Successful candidates on the basis of written Test will be called for the interview & shall have to face an interview board. The interview board will include the Head of the Department of Surgery and/or Anesthesia (Chairman of the Board) along with other nominees, whose recommendations shall be final for the selection of the students.
  3. During subsequent counseling (s) the seat will be allotted as per the merit of the candidate depending on the availability of seats on that particular day.
  4. d. Candidate who fails to attend the Medical Examination on the notified date(s) will forfeit the claim for admission and placement in the waiting list except permitted by the competent authority under special circumstances.
  5. The name of the student(s) who remain(s) absent from classes for more than 15 days at a stretch after joining the said course will be struck off from the college rolls without giving any notice.

Lateral entry to second year for allied and healthcare science courses for candidates who have passed diploma program from the Government Boards and recognized by State/Central University, fulfilling the conditions specified and these students are eligible to take admission on lateral entry system only if the same subject have been studied at diploma level.

Number of intake: lateral entry admission must not be more than 20% of the annual intake.

A candidate with a minimum 2 years full-time diploma in Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology recognized by a Government Body is eligible for lateral entry to the 3rd semester of Baccalaureate in Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology.

Note: Candidates with minimum 2 years full-time diploma in Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology from a recognized Government Body shall have passed „plus-two‟ [10+2] with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects.

Eligibility of the lateral candidates based on examination conducted by NCAHP.

Foreign nationals and candidates who have qualified from a foreign University/Board should obtain permission from the NCAHP commission prior to the admission for equivalence of the qualification.

• The maximum period for completion of BAOTT is 6 years
• If a candidate does not complete within the 6years, he/she should re-register.

Medium of instruction:

English shall be the medium of instruction for all the subjects of study and for examination of the course.

Attendance:

A candidate has to secure minimum or as mandated by the State-

1. 75% attendance in theoretical
2. 80% in Skills training (practical) for qualifying to appear for the final examination.

No relaxation, whatsoever, will be permissible to this rule under any ground including indisposition etc.

A candidate having shortage of attendance shall repeat the exam when it is offered next.

Duration of the course: 4 years or 8 semesters. (2140 hours of Theory & 920 hours of Practical Classes) and 1440 hours (minimum) of internship

• The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination recognised by any Indian Board or a duly constituted Board or National Open School with at least 50% marks in aggregate of physics, chemistry and biology (botany & zoology).
• Admission to Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science program shall be made on the basis of NEET examination and merit list based on 10+2 marks.
• Candidates who have studied abroad and have possess equivalent qualification as determined by the Association of Indian Universities and Equivalence Committee of the NCAHP and fulfil the above criteria shall also be eligible for admission.
• Candidates must be 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission to first year of BMLS course.
• Candidates must furnish a certificate of Physical fitness from an Authorized Medical Professional, at the time of application, to ascertain that the candidate does not have any physical disability
• Degree Awarded: Bachelor’s of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)

• Lateral Entry for candidates with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science: Candidates who have obtained Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science from recognised Universities/Institutions will be eligible for direct admission to Second year of BMLS course. Only 10% of sanctioned strength of BMLS course can be allotted to Lateral entry candidates, based on on merit.

• Candidates must have completed class 12th with science stream from any recognized board.
• Candidates must have a minimum percentage (%) score of 45% to 60%, which may vary according to the university or college they seek admission in.
• Candidates should not be below the age of 17 or above 35 years of age for being eligible to apply for admission in Diploma in Radiography.

Upon successful completion of the course, Graduates can work as:

• You will work in a range of hospital departments, acquiring images to help with the diagnosis of illness and injuries.
• You will provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiologists concerned.
• You will use scientific techniques and equipment to measure and monitor radiation, assess risks, and ensure the workplace and general public safety.
• You will be part of a team helping people who are dealing with cancer.
• You will produce diagnostic images by positioning patients’ bodies and taking images.
